The Rage of Discipline




So I have reached the end of Phase I.

I weighed in 4 weeks ago at 242 lbs.

When I weighed myself on friday I weighed 228lbs.

For a total weight loss of 14lbs.

I am pretty happy with the results so far. I have definitely not followed the regimen to the letter. Drinks and the occasional greasy breakfast crept back in around mid week 3. And this weekend I cut loose with this:

But Phase II starts monday. It involves the same rules as before, but it also allows for "anything goes calories", which generally isn't as exciting as it sounds. Also I guess I am supposed to get to the emotional reasons that I eat, which if I earnestly look into, will not be discussed here. Feelings blogs haven't been cool since I last updated mine. In addition, I am going to start using something called the hunger scale, which seems to mean only eating when you are truly hungry, and never eating until you are full (that idea makes me truly sad). Also, I am going to be paying attention to proper portion sizes. I am going to also up my exercise amount to five runs and three strength training sessions if I can manage it with school work, and I might consult a personal trainer in the next month. And of course, no soda, high fat dairy, fried foods, trans fats and white flour.

God help me.
